**Status:** FULLY COMPLETE ✅

**Files created:**

- BreakPeriodRepository layer: create, get_by_id, get_by_workspace, update, delete, list
- BreakPeriodService layer: create, get, list_for_workspace, update, delete

### Task 5: Date Helpers
**Status:** FULLY COMPLETE ✅

**Files created:**
- `backend/app/utils/dates.py` (3 core functions)
- `backend/tests/unit/test_dates.py` (40+ tests)

**Functions implemented:**
- `add_months(date, n)` — handles month-end and leap year edge cases
- `age_in_months(birth_date, on)` — calculates age in months between dates
- `fourth_birthday(birth_date)` — returns child's 4th birthday date

**Test coverage:**
- Leap year handling (Feb 29, century years)
- Month-end dates (Jan 31 → Feb 28/29)
- Negative months, same-day calculations

### Task 6: Swedish Holiday Helper

- `get_swedish_holidays(year)` — returns röda dagar for Sweden with caching
- `is_swedish_holiday(date)` — checks if date is a holiday
- `get_holiday_name(date)` — returns holiday name in Swedish

**Features:**
- Per-year caching (in-memory Dict)
- Uses `holidays` library with Sweden locale
- Swedish language holiday names
- ≥90% coverage met

### Task 2: Child CRUD + Settings Endpoints
**Status:** FULLY COMPLETE ✅

**Files created:**
- `backend/app/models/child.py` (Pydantic schemas with validation)
- `backend/app/services/child_service.py` (business logic)
- Routes added to `backend/app/routers/settings.py`
- `backend/tests/unit/test_child_service.py` (25+ tests)

**API Endpoints:**
- `POST /api/children` — create child
- `GET /api/children/{child_id}` — fetch by ID
- `GET /api/children/workspace/{workspace_id}` — list by workspace
- `PUT /api/settings/child/{child_id}` — update child
- `DELETE /api/settings/{child_id}` — delete child

**Validation:**
- `preschool_start_date > birth_date` enforced
- Both create and update support partial updates
- Error handling via DomainError subclasses

**Integration:**
- Added to `app/dependencies.py` (ChildServiceDep)
- Registered in `app/main.py`
- Tests use seeded_ids fixture

### Task 3: PlannedLeaveDay CRUD + PlanningService

**API Endpoints:**
- `POST /api/planned-days` — add planned day
- `GET /api/planned-days/{planned_leave_day_id}` — fetch by ID
- `GET /api/planned-days/workspace/{workspace_id}` — list by workspace
- `DELETE /api/planned-days/{planned_leave_day_id}` — remove planned day

**Business Logic:**
- Validation 1: Dubbeldagar quota check via `AnalyticsService.validate_dubbeldagar()`
- Validation 2: No double-booking on same date
- Support for day_type enum (sjukpenning, lagsta, vacation)
- is_dubbeldag flag for special leave types

**Integration:**
- Added PlanningService and AnalyticsService to `app/dependencies.py`
- Registered in `app/main.py`
- Tests mock analytics validation
- ≥90% coverage met

### Task 4: PersonalData Settings Endpoint
**Status:** FULLY COMPLETE ✅

**Files created:**
- `backend/app/models/personal_data.py` (Pydantic schemas)
- Route added to `backend/app/routers/settings.py`

**API Endpoint:**
- `PUT /api/settings/parent/{personal_data_uuid}` — update parent settings

**Fields updateable:**
- `salary_type` (monthly | hourly)
- `employment_status` (employed | jobseeking | none)

**Implementation:**
- Thin wrapper over existing PersonalDataRepository.update()
- Partial update support (only update provided fields)
- Error handling: NotFoundError → 404

### Task 8: Frontend Utilities

**Date functions (sv-SE locale):**
- `formatDateForDisplay(date)` → "15 juni 2026"
- `formatDateForInput(date)` → "2026-06-15"
- `parseInputDate(value)` → Date object
- `isValidDate(date)` → boolean type guard
- `getDayName(date)` → "Fredag"
- `getMonthName(date)` → "Juni"

**Formatting functions:**
- `formatDayCount(days)` → "1 dag" / "25 dagar" (Swedish plurals)
- `formatPercentage(numerator, denominator)` → "75%" (rounded)

**Test coverage:**
- Edge cases (leap years, month boundaries, invalid inputs)
- All 12 months tested
- ≥90% coverage met for both files

### Task 7: Presentational Components
**Status:** 50% complete — 7 of 14 components built

**What's built:**
- Core layout components (Header, Footer, Layout)
- Common utilities (LoadingSpinner)
- Dashboard metrics display (OverviewMetrics)
- First input component (ChildBirthdayInput)

**What's missing:**
- 7 calendar/metrics/settings input components
- All tests for Layout.tsx component (file exists but incomplete)

- Follow existing pattern exactly (Header/Footer/ChildBirthdayInput)
