**Why:** asking the owner to type adb or Gradle commands wastes their time.
|

|
**How to apply:** when the phone is attached: `adb shell pm list packages | grep <id>`, then `installDebug` from main without asking; keep [[phone-install-safety]]. If not attached, say so once and install when it appears. See [[ask-owner-to-tap]].
